Scottsdale, AZ – (December 12, 2008) - Lekson Visual Communications announced a strategic collaboration with AXIS Communications, the global market leader in network video to provide intelligent and comprehensive visual display solutions to address the needs of Retail Loss Prevention and Marketing Professionals worldwide.

The LVC and AXIS partnership will offer intelligent, multi-function IP Public View Monitors (PVM’s), and visual display solutions integrating AXIS network cameras and their other state of the art IP technology.  This technology would allow a single display to serve the needs of Security/Loss Prevention, in-store Merchandising and Advertising, and Emergency Notification.  Combining these functions will allow retailers to do more with less, reduce total cost of ownership, and improve overall return on investment. 

Initial versions will be introduced in early 2009.  These versions will convert analog to IP to support those starting the conversion now and will provide two outputs, analog and IP, to allow total flexibility in transition.  Intelligent IP displays are planned for release in Q1 of 2009.
